noise in the night.
Tricia was worried that with the window ajar she would be woken by the paper delivery car.
Can a deaf person be woken by hearing a noise?
Probably, but there is no casual link. They may dream about it and wake up convinced they heard the car. Occasionally by coincidence there may be a moving car in the road. Bingo.
I rest my case.
And she did not get wakened, or even think she had been.
