what keeps a catheter in place?
I think there is a balloon structure at the end of the tube, which is naturally in an inflated state. So to get it out you have to suck the air out. You could do this with a very narrow flexible pipe pushed down the catheter pipe.
This is really quite a cunning solution.
I guess you could even make it work without the pipe if the length of the catheter is tough enough. Just suck the external end of the pipe.
