there are runners, who cannot yet do it
There are people who look very uncomfy when they have finished their meal. They have not yet worked out that they could instantly leave the room.
We have one who stays, and looks most uncomfortable. He does a series of stretches, but this does not relax him. He would be better running. Calming down, and then try re-entering.
Probably a very large cup of coffee would satisfy his needs.
Anyway, all these runners are unfortunates in that they are always going to be agitated to some degree.
I just see the scene as very complex theatre, and there is reward in trying to make some sense out of it. I am sure that the servers do get enough exposure, to be able to help the inmates. So I should point out that I am not trying to flag any failings.
