Other feedback to the Care Home.

How presumptuous can I get?

These are a random selection of things that niggle me as an onlooker. It should be clear where my sympathies are.

The decision as to when you have finished meal course is with the eater, not the server

Actions close to the front of my body are intrinsically more worrying than at the side or behind, and it should be marked as a thirty mile an hour area

Depending solely on one's ears fir hearing is uncomfortable, and I much prefer to see the speakers lips.  The combination of hearing and sight delivers far better cognition.

Normally I will physically react to someone preparing to deliver or take away my food.  Be it a nod, or moving my hands away etc.  This interaction without any speaking on either side, I find much more satisfactory.  It is tiring and boring always depending on speech.

When I am being served I want it one on one.  Any third party involvement is normally plain rude.  These distractions do damage to one's confidence in others.

That is enough to be going on with.

This is a very personal view.  I suppose it could be summed up as 'I want them to serve food to me as if I was their kind friendly grandpa', not one of their siblings.

I feel this blog entry is rather unlikely to be what they would put in a training guide.   Well more fool them.
