Origin of the Finch bird name
In the text coming back from Gemini, it gave one version of its call as 'fink', and suggested that this was the reason for the class name of finch.
I had not really thought about this, but it makes sense in that the most common finch in the UK will be the chaffinch, and then you add all the other finches to this class through having other similarities within the group such as the bill.
