I finished making the card hoopoe model
There were many sheets of stiff card with the pieces cut in place. I foolishly thought this would make a whole family of simple birds.
Turns out that it should have made just one three dimensional bird. Eventually it made two three dimensional birds. One large, complete with glass eyes, and one small slightly thinner bird.
There were no instructions so I feel quite satisfied with this.
Jono confirmed that the tin van was not from him, so how it came to be in my room is a mystery. It is in the dining room, and unclaimed.
