He should be taught that there is nothing wrong with running off the stage for 100 seconds.  Indeed encouraged to do it as soon as he has finished what he wants.

And there is nothing wrong with coming back as if nothing has happened.  There are hoards of reasons that could explain the absense, plenty being medical that no one wants to talk about, anyway.

He should be encouraged to make sure the helpings are of manageable size, with the server prompting him a little.  That can all be seen as medical as well.

What could go wrong?  Well, I think it will be a long haul, given his current detachment from life, and probably a domination by the Lady.  I doubt if she would help.

Easy to write this, difficult to activate, and may be doomed to failure.  But no worse than the current situation.

Do not ask me to help.  Remember I hit him pretty hard.  That worked for me, but not for him.
