conscious or unconscious
I wss thinking about the wards hat I do have some memory of, and noticing that these were really for people that would naturally wake up in the morning, and be conscious. If you were basically not having the routine, then you really needed some machines to watch over you, 24 hours a day, producing alerts as and when necessary. These would be a different kind of ward.
I would expect the doctors to spend the majority of their time considering rhe second type of patient, in that the first type would only be seen by exception, when there was a change in the condition of the patient.
So most of the doctors time in the second type of ward would be with an unconscious me, which I would probably not remember.
So my memory is most likely correct and also appropriate. And nothing to worry about. Probably totally routine. The family would have had and remembered far more about them, than me.
So my search for information is nice and simple. Ask the family.
