clean plate syndrome
The lady is fussy about no leaving any bread crumbs on her breakfast plate. She spends ages trying to pick up every crumb on her plate.
She is not very good at doing it. I would have licked my finger and swept up the whole lot at one go. How vulgar.
But I bet all observers are desparate for her to do this.
And I bet she will object when a server will take the plate away from her.
I am not waiting
