Are there any memory games the inmates could enjoy?
There must be plenty of addictive games that many patients could play, and many of these could have a beneficial effect.
At the moment the only things they can do are
- talk to themselves
- talk to others
- watch TV
They need more challenges, more variety, more examples of thing they could do.
Why not
. daily crossword
. General knowledge quiz
. A thought for the day
. Hide and seek, find hidden treasure
. Etc etc
The staff should take it in turns (say weekly) to organise.
Visitors can be roped in, it it may improve their lot as well
It might encourage showing off, conpetitiveness, arguments, etc. Jolly good
