proof that there is only one future.
It is of course possible that all possible futures do genuinely exist. Not sure how you would attempt to prove it, but it is too boring to be considered.
It only gets interesting if there is just one logical thread. The 'rationalisation' has to be strictly local of course, here lies another issue. You could get inconsistencies in rather complicated ways, which have to be botched 'away' in some hierarchical way. Rather blows the mind away.
The future is truely unknowable, given this mass correction going on all the time.
There is an interesting question as to how big these corrections could be, and whether they could be themselves observed.
