two legs is unusual?
I start by observing that two legged dinasaurs are doing really quite well, in the shape of birds. Indeed given the rarity of bipedalism, it is stunningly obvious that birds are dinosaur descendents.
What i am more uncertain about is why dinasaurs ever developed bipedalism. Is it the long distance running scene all over again for hunters such as man.
There are other outliers such as bats, insects etc
But strangest of all are the kangeroo.
