what can you rotate?

Clearly i can rotate this poco that is in my hand.  I can rotate the atoms in it around themselves.  But am i actually rotating the electrons in any sense?

Put it another way can give an electron an angular momentum relative to its position?

I suspect not.

A fives ball does not obey the reflexion law of equal angles of incidence and reflection. It grips the wall at the point of contact and starts to spin.

I think electrons like photons will obey the laws, and thus not spin as a result. Or at least in the relavent direction.

I feel like saying that rotation is strictly a gravitation Thing, if that makes sense.
